What I wish I knew before living in Manhattan Beach
Hello, I'm a college student here and You can expect to pay around $3,492 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Let me know your thoughts. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Greenfield. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in construction you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Indian.
