Hey, The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $110,600 on average. Poverty rate is 21.1%, which is higher than I expected. Crime rate is something to consider -Mansfield sits at 402.9 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to.
