Anyone regret moving to Manteca?

Hey, Born and raised here. It's a a smaller city city with about 86,521 people. Household incomes average around $94,718 in Manteca. With a population of 86,521, Manteca is a smaller city. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Let me know your thoughts. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in West. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in finance. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Hope this helps!.
