Best neighborhoods in Manteca for families?

We have two kids (3 and 6) and are looking for a family-friendly neighborhood in Manteca. Budget is around $1934/month for rent. We prioritize good schools and safety. Any recommendations?

Also, are there good parks and activities for kids in the area?

Can confirm the safety issue. But it really depends on the neighborhood. Riverside and Cedar Hills are perfectly safe.

Public transit needs work but they're investing in it. Should improve in next few years.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is the west side tends to be more affordable. Makes a big difference.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.
