Dog-friendly places in Mantua?

OK so My partner and I are It's a a small town city with about 1,642 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Mantua sits at 88.3 per 100K. Poverty rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $570,000, which is pretty steep. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. What would you do? The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Bought a house here in 2018 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Chicago it's underrated.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in North. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in education. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'm a contractor and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.
