Job market in Maple Glen for tech?

Been meaning to ask this. I've been here for 1 years and Homes are going for about $543,800 on average. It's a a small town city with about 6,851 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. Let me know your thoughts. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The community vibe is genuinely better than expected and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. My neighborhood (Uptown) is growing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Houston, be prepared for the culture shock. housing market is completely different here. And Not very walkable outside downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Came here for family and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The food scene is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is public transit. it was the best decision I ever made. Worth doing your research before committing.
