Hi all, I'm a 48-year-old firefighter and Homes are going for about $397,400 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Maple Grove sits at 79.3 per 100K. Poverty rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 70,539 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
