Hey folks, Military spouse here. Crime rate is something to consider -Maple Heights sits at 187.1 per 100K. Household incomes average around $52,823 in Maple Heights. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Has anyone dealt with this? Cheers.

I've been in Cedar Grove for 2 years. Moved from Salt Lake City for family. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is better than expected. We bought in 2022 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. Lots of new construction which should help.
**Employment:**
engineering is strong here. real estate is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are stable for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
I have mixed feelings honestly. The outdoor scene is underrated - we have desert landscapes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Cedar Grove schools are tough. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Urban sprawl is real. Dating scene is rough. And traffic can be frustrating.
