Maquoketa quality of life -am I missing something?

Hello, I'm a remote worker and You can expect to pay around $745 for rent here. Rent is about $745/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.
