Hello, I work in media and Homes are going for about $380,100 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

The food scene here is surprisingly good. Tons of great Mexican places. it's not perfect but it works for me.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value cultural scene, you'll love it. The pet-friendliness is genuinely better than expected and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (North) is pricey and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from New York, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's improved dramatically in recent years. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..

I'm a project manager and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. The community is improving and there's always something going on.
