I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 44--F, so bundle up in winter. Median household income is $90,000, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 1,397, Marathon City is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thoughts? The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
