Hello, Born and raised here. Household incomes average around $60,852 in Margate. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Thoughts? The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in South for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Lots of new development happening
- The nightlife scene is tough
The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Limited entertainment options
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
