Alright, I relocated for work and Homes are going for about $338,600 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,919 for rent here. Poverty rate is 5.1%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The walkability is honestly underrated and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from New York about 1 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Property taxes are high
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are reasonable, gas is solid.
Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Feel free to reach out with questions..

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much competitive but now it's solid.

Hot take but the quality of life is solid. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.
