Alright, Military spouse here. Crime rate is something to consider -Marietta sits at 427.2 per 100K. Rent is about $1,491/month for a decent place. With a population of 61,773, Marietta is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Is this normal for Marietta? Any help is appreciated. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
