Dog-friendly places in Marietta?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but We're a young couple and Crime rate is something to consider -Marietta sits at 427.2 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $1,491 for rent here. With a population of 61,773, Marietta is a smaller city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Anyone in a similar situation? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The safety is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Riverside. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in government. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

No regrets on my end..
