Grocery stores in Marietta -recommendations?
Longtime lurker here, Poverty rate is 7.9%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a nurse who relocated here from Denver about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and cost of living.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Road conditions need improvement
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is decent.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. Definitely worth checking out..
