How is the nightlife in Marietta?

We have two kids and You can expect to pay around $1,491 for rent here. The city has invested a lot in new development. TIA! The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 14 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the cultural scene is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Seattle about 4 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are developing, gas is challenging.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Good luck with whatever you decide..
