Longtime lurker here, Crime rate is something to consider -Marietta sits at 427.2 per 100K. Poverty rate is 7.9%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 61,773 people. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Would love some local perspective. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
