Anyone else feel this way? Just moved here 9 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Marietta sits at 427.2 per 100K. The median home value here is around $401,100, which is pretty steep. You can expect to pay around $1,491 for rent here. Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Is this normal for Marietta? Thanks! Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up.
