Is Marina good for remote workers?

Random thought, I'm a college student here and Median household income is $88,518, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 22,324 people. Rent is about $2,105/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $2,105 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What do you all think? The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I work in marketing here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is excellent. No regrets on my end..

I've lived in Lakewood for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Active local events and festivals
- Good airport with direct flights
- The community vibe scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Dating scene is rough
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
