Most overrated things about Marina

Curious what people think. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The public transit is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Downtown. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Hope this helps!.
