Housing in Marion compared to Tucson

Hey, Just moved here 13 months ago and Rent is about $848/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $848 for rent here. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Great weather
- Good job market
- Close to nature

Cons:
- Not very walkable
- Far from major airports
- Limited cultural events
- Chain restaurants dominate
What are your go-to spots? The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
