First post here. Military spouse here. Average temperature is around 55--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $1,758/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 5,391 people. The median home value here is around $499,300, which is pretty steep. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
