I'm a remote worker and Homes are going for about $314,500 on average. With a population of 10,473, Marlton is a small town. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Is this normal for Marlton? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.
I've been here 13 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is solid.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Definitely worth checking out..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Tampa about 15 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Chain restaurants dominate
Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are growing, gas is decent.
Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Hope this helps!.
