Alright, You can expect to pay around $794 for rent here. Rent is about $794/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Let me know your thoughts. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- The cultural scene scene is better than expected
The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for young professionals. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. the quality of life is solid. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.

Bought a house here in 2018 and I love the pace of life here. Property values have gone about the same since then.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.

Came here for school and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The healthcare is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 11 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Tampa about 4 years ago. The main reasons were work and cost of living.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Strong job market in several industries
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are developing, gas is improving.
Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
