People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What do you all think? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Oak Park area are improving. Kids love it here.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to New York it's solid.

Used to live on the Highland side, now on the East side. Completely different vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me.
