I'm originally from Atlanta and The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $198,900 on average. The median home value here is around $198,900, which is actually reasonable. Household incomes average around $64,636 in Marshall. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
