Best neighborhoods to rent in Martinez?

Hey, The median home value here is around $824,700, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. The suburbs are where most families end up. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 6 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.
