Been living here since 2013. Household incomes average around $85,617 in Martinez. Average temperature is around 64--F, so the weather is moderate. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Thoughts? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
