Hey, Military spouse here. You can expect to pay around $784 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 13,584 people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I overthinking this? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
