Grocery stores in Marvell -recommendations?

First post here. Median household income is $49,000, which feels on the lower side for the area. The median home value here is around $59,100, which is actually reasonable. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider -Marvell sits at 184.7 per 100K. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Does this match your experience? TIA! It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Boston about 3 years ago. The main reasons were weather and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are competitive, gas is tough.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
