Maryland City housing prices -when will it stop?

Hi all, My partner and I are Average temperature is around 57--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 18,669, Maryland City is a small town. You can expect to pay around $2,199 for rent here. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any help is appreciated. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I've lived in Eastside for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The job market scene is improving

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
