Working in Maryland City -salaries realistic?
Alright, My family moved here when I was a kid. Homes are going for about $392,500 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Maryland City sits at 593.4 per 100K. Poverty rate is 8.5%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What are your go-to spots? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
