Job market in Marysville for tech?

Hi all, Just moved here 13 months ago and Poverty rate is 17.7%, which is higher than I expected. The median home value here is around $282,700, which seems about average. You can expect to pay around $1,223 for rent here. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thoughts? Thanks for reading. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 4 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in marketing. If you're in engineering you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.
