Marysville job market vs Pittsburgh

Longtime lurker here, Household incomes average around $58,150 in Marysville. Has anyone dealt with this? Any help is appreciated.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 3 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into running, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

I work in manufacturing here and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The job market for my field is pretty good. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

We moved here with our family and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Schools in Fairview area are excellent. Kids love it here.

I've been living here for 12 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The traffic is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in The Heights for 10 years. Moved from Salt Lake City for a job opportunity. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is tough. We bought in 2020 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 4-bed in a safe area. Older homes are where the value is.

**Employment:**
education is strong here. consulting is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are manageable for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I have mixed feelings honestly. The outdoor scene is tough - we have mountains within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. The Heights schools are tough. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Not very walkable outside downtown. Far from beaches/mountains. And school system can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For couples, I'd say this is a 9/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I'm a nurse and I've found it exceeded my expectations. The community is hit or miss and there's always something going on.
