Dog-friendly places in Marysville?

Anyone else feel this way? I've been here for 4 years and Average temperature is around 54--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $664/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Let me know your thoughts. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Compared to San Francisco it's pretty good.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 12 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Meadowbrook. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in retail. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 16 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

I've been here 6 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is food scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
