Anyone else feel this way? With a population of 71,570, Marysville is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $1,863 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. TIA! Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Used to live on the Cedar Grove side, now on the South side. Completely different vibe. I have mixed feelings honestly.

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Riverside area are pretty good. Kids love it here.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value healthcare, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely challenging and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (Sunset) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from LA, be prepared for the culture shock. cultural scene is completely different here. And Road conditions need improvement.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
