Working remotely from Marysville

So, We have two kids and The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Any advice would be great.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Highland. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in education. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's not perfect but it works for me.

Moved here from Boston about 15 years ago. I have mixed feelings honestly. Still getting used to nightlife but Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is excellent in most areas.
