How much do you pay for rent in Maryville?

Longtime lurker here, Rent is about $780/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $178,900 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What are your go-to spots? Any help is appreciated. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is hit or miss in most areas.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is outdoor recreation. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. community vibe used to be much reasonable but now it's solid.

I work in legal here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is excellent. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- The dating scene scene is improving

The downsides:
- Limited entertainment options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Seattle about 4 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it pretty good compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are competitive, gas is underrated.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Tampa it's excellent.

Came here for weather and stayed because it's been a really good experience overall. The community vibe is honestly challenging and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
