Curious what people think. We're a young couple and Median household income is $170,470, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Massapequa Park sits at 119.0 per 100K. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Miami, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- The cost of living scene is underrated
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited shopping options
Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Hope this helps!.

The food scene here is surprisingly good. Tons of great Asian places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in North. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in education. If you're in engineering you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.
Feel free to reach out with questions..

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The school system is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..
