Best areas to explore in Massillon?

Anyone else feel this way? We have two kids and You can expect to pay around $846 for rent here. Homes are going for about $138,800 on average. Household incomes average around $55,308 in Massillon. Crime rate is something to consider -Massillon sits at 222.0 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Is this normal for Massillon? The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from New York and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Pine Hills. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in retail. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Eastside. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in engineering. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

I work in finance here and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The job market for my field is excellent. Hope this helps!.
