Maumelle in the winter -how bad?

Been living here since 2022. Poverty rate is 6.0%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Maumelle sits at 153.7 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. TIA! It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Portland about 2 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is tough.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Happy to answer more specific questions..
