How is Mayagüez zona urbana for outdoor activities?

Random thought, I work in energy and You can expect to pay around $456 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Any help is appreciated. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I've lived in North for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Decent public transit for the size
- The public transit scene is tough

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..
