Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Tampa about 5 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Active local events and festivals
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are competitive, gas is decent.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Hot take but I love the pace of life here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is excellent in most areas.
