Starting a business in Maynard?

People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I wrong here? Cheers. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Used to live on the East side, now on the Midtown side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from LA about 8 years ago. The main reasons were weather and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good internet infrastructure
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are established, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Definitely worth checking out..

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The pet-friendliness is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
