Best areas to explore in Mayville?

Hey everyone, I grew up here but left for a while. Homes are going for about $184,800 on average. Poverty rate is 6.7%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $66,453, which feels about average for the area. Rent is about $853/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Does this match your experience? The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Oak Park. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in legal. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

Definitely worth checking out..

I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The job market is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..
