Housing market in McAllen — is it worth buying?
Median home value here is around $173,800. Prices are reasonable compared to major metros. For those renting, typical rent is $1017.
Is now a good time to buy in McAllen? Or better to keep renting?
Looking for opinions from both homeowners and renters.

If you can afford it, Oakwood is the best place to live. Period.
