Not sure if this has been asked before, but I've been here for 15 years and Homes are going for about $195,000 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -McArthur sits at 59.2 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What do you all think? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've lived in Riverside for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good healthcare facilities
- The dating scene scene is surprisingly good
The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Dating scene is rough
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. No regrets on my end..

I've lived in Highland for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The job market scene is solid
The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Far from beaches/mountains
