Anyone work in healthcare in McClellan Park?

Curious what people think. The city has invested a lot in new development. What are your go-to spots? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

The food scene here is solid. Tons of great Southern places. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from San Diego about 15 years ago. The main reasons were weather and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Lots of new development happening
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are reasonable, gas is excellent.

Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. No regrets on my end..
