Healthcare options in McDonald?

Hey folks, The median home value here is around $152,400, which is actually reasonable. It's a a small town city with about 2,277 people. Crime rate is something to consider -McDonald sits at 145.2 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $875 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What do you all think? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I've lived in Eastside for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Close to major attractions
- Strong sense of community
- The housing market scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. No regrets on my end..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 3 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Cedar Grove side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.
